(Newsroompanama) Panama’s indigenous regions will see an investment of $32 million to improve education quality for the Emberá-Wounaan, Ngäbe Buglé, and Kuna Yala population.
The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) has approved a loan to Panama for educational activities and quality of learning in the three regions.
Tthe government plans to build three schools and to expand and rehabilitate, existing facilities and construct dormitories for students and teachers.
The program also aims at improving Spanish and mathematics classes.
