03/18/2011 By Panama Eric

(prensa.com) Bocas del Toro know in just three days is almost a challenge especially if it is a journey through the archipelago, located on the northwest coast of the Republic of Panama.

However, the mission, exciting and fun-it is possible for anyone who proposes it. If the traveler has little time for travel, then it is best to travel by plane.

Although the cost of travel is greater, it is worthwhile because it saves time: the crossing takes just an hour. In this way, the rest of the time may be invested entirely in Bocas.

Three days in Bocas

At 6:00 a.m. point the plane takes off heading for Isla Colon, the most tourism in the province.

Traveling there is around 45 minutes and two companies cover the route: Air Panama and Aeroperlas. The airport is adjacent to the capital of the province, Bocas del Toro. In the town itself has many accommodation options.

From cheap hostels ($ 5 overnight) to those that can cost several dollars more (options vary depending on conditions and location of the place.) Without doubt, the most exclusive island is at the other end of it. At Punta Caracol, housing costs $ 300 (the cheapest) to $ 800 (the most expensive). After selecting the property, the traveler is ready to be captivated by the charm of the islands of Bocas. (See the complete tour animated graphics)

First day: Bird Island beach, the stars, Bocas del Drago

The best time for landing is at 9:00 am as the time when most tourists are concentrated in the spring. If the group is small, the most common is to share the pot.

There are several companies involved in organizing group travel. The visitor can talk directly to the boatman, allowing you to save a few bucks.

And so begins the path towards Bird Island. Pilo, the boatman, said that “today we will go around Colon Island.” On the boat ride Spanish, Italian and domestic.

Bird Island is an island in the Caribbean Sea. Covered by nature, constantly flying dozens of birds.

The boatman stopped the engine near the island, and as if observed Niagara Falls, you can enjoy the sounds of nature.

The next stop is the popular beach on the stars. ” “Giant sea stars cover the ground,” said the people before visiting. The translucent water suggests some of them.

In the afternoon, the tour stopped at the pub Aqua Lounge. This is a busy for quite a few local surfers and is also a hostel. The best thing about Aqua Lounge? your music is chill out and “attractions.” A trampoline and swings invite you to jump directly to water.

Second day: Cayo Coral, Red Frog, Cayo Hospital

The route of the second day may be the most complete and interesting. The walk starts seeing dolphins in Dolphin Bay. While someone whistled, they emerged timidly under water.

Equipped with snorkel goggles can see hundreds of fish among the coral cay Hospital. After the dip is nothing better than recuperate. There you can also try the freshly caught lobster.

With little time to relax, we continue to Red Frog, where it is almost impossible to find a red frog. Some children show one of them hidden in a page so you can know.

Third day: Cayo Slipper

The last day of the tour: visit Cayo Slipper, Marine Natural Park. One of the most remote tourist spots in Bocas del Toro. Getting there takes about an hour and a half or so.

Turquoise waters and white sand await in Key Slipper. A good ending will surely invited to return in the future.
