Roberto Duran first to sign list of demands in continuing dispute between Panamanian sports leaders

10/28/2010 By Panama Eric

(prensa.com)Former world boxing champion Roberto “Mano de Piedra” Durán was the first to sign the list of demands to repudiate the continuing dispute between national sports leaders.

Supporters of the petition began arriving at Plaza Catedral (the Cathedral Plaza), San Felipe,  at 4 p.m. yesterday to participate in the activity, which was organized by Durán and other athletes.

Panamanian fighter Leonardo González informed that the list of demands would be delivered to the Presidency of the Republic.

In the document, the athletes expressed their position on the sports crisis in the country, and the need to work to restore peace in this sector, explained González.
