(prensa.com)The Ministry of Health announced on Friday that by the end of November, construction is set to begin on five new hospitals in the provinces of Darién, Chiriquí, Los Santos, Veraguas, and Colón.
These projects are a product of a $386 million investment.
In a press release, Minister of Health Franklin Vergara informed that the only thing pending at this point is that the Department of Infrastructure of the institution performs a final review of the construction plans.
Vergara said the construction of these five hospitals will generate over 3,000 jobs, in operations alone. The official added that the hospitals should be operating within a maximum period of 36 months.
