Coclé farmers export oranges to the Caribbean

(prensa.com)Farmers in the province of Coclé sent a total of 44,352 kilos of oranges this week to Martinique and French Guyana.

According to details provided by the Ministry of Agricultural Development (MIDA), the oranges were shipped in 2,464 boxes, which were inspected by the institution.

MIDA certified the delivery and included the closing seal certifying that the shipment was in compliance with health standards.

The shipment was made from the collection site established in the area of Tambo.

The actual export was executed by the company Fruvertropik, S.A., and marked the first for 2010, according to MIDA officials
